TJ Watt vs Lawrence Taylor

Taylor is slightly better, and def better in coverage (only mildly) but def worse at pursuit (by alot) other than that, they seem very comparable. I needed upgrades at both OLB spots/pass rush help so I bought Taylor last night and it pretty much made me broke lol Is he worth the 200k coin difference or should I just get Watt and play him OOP (will he still get ZC chem then?) at Taylors spots of ROLB/RRE and use the difference pocketed to start stacking again/waiting for Brady etc to drop? 

Also, is it worth using the discounted edge threat or whatever it is on LT or are all pass rush abilities completely useless regardless of discount this year IYO?

Nobody? Lol im genuinely curious why the massive difference in coin value and wether people think its worth it. Id say maybe the name recognition of LT but TJ is a modern superstar on an iconic franchise so its not like hes a nobody himself. 🤷‍♂️

I don't think he'll get ZC chem if playing out of position. But he should (I think) still get the strategy card boost. Personally, I don't think the extra 200k is worth going broke over. Not for a pass rusher. 

As for abilities, I don't think any pass rush abilities are really worth a ton right now. Not unless you just have extra AP to blow.

I have DON on Lt and it’s good, gets multiple sacks per game. but for 2 ap, I could go for discounted pick artists or inside stuff. it’s a toss up

LT with no abilities is all u need

Watt seems clunky. Players model matters when rushing. I have BND watt and he sits on the bench cause of LT but Parsons is better than both.

LT is much more noticeable than Watt in my experience.

I have both Watt & L.T.

I have not been impressed with either. While Watt & L.T. look to be one of the best combos by the numbers, I felt like I got more out of Ted Hendricks and Micah Parsons.

 I upgraded MCS Parsons to Field Pass Parsons to Derrick Thomas to L.T. and I have had less impact on defense since the MCS Parsons.

I was just thinking of selling blitz kearse off to get LT back. I have Watt now and was thinking Kearse is someone I could do without if i find another pass rusher (pref a re but those seem to be in short supply its all left ends other than super expensive options) or a rolb. So figuring sell kearse, save a little and get LT back for ROLB/RRE. That or another LE who plays at RE better than Kearse does.

Organic pass rush barely exists this year, save yer coins. That being said, I've got TJ Watt & LT as my edge rushers, but I paid 500 Training to run Lawrence as DE. However you can slot him in wherever, then simply add him as your primary RRE, which should achieve similar results while also granting you team chems.

Same goes for abilities, I've got all 9AP invested into my DBs, although I'm still running the Aaron Donald X-factors for 0AP, going to generate some type of interior pass rush. A-gap and Slot corners are the only somewhat reliable pressure I can seem to generate. I wouldn't waste anything on Edge Threat. Although having an A-gap blitzer with Reach Elite or something might be pretty cool.

Guess I'm thinking this Under Pressure ability would be really rad from A-gap. Good luck. Just this week I've been toying with the idea of trying to run Josh Allen at RLE in hopes his LurkArtist ability triggers during pass rush scenarios, despite his stats being terrible as pure rusher. I've got Fred Warner and Carmichael as both SUBLB.
