Team of the Week 2 went live this morning and this week's update is highlighted by Player of the Week Tua Tagovailoa, LTD Jordan Whitehead, Offensive Champion Chad Johnson, and Defensive Champion DeMarcus Ware. As a reminder, the Player of the Week is a current player who stood out during this week, the LTD is a current player who stood out during this week in a previous season, and the Legendary TotW Champions are Legends who stood out during this week in a previous season.
LTD Jordan Whitehead can be found in packs until 10 am ET on Thursday, September 22nd. Whitehead can equip Buccaneers or Jets Team Chemistry and comes with Out My Way (1 AP) and Enforcer (1 AP) in his custom ability bucket. This week's Player of the Week seemed like a foregone conclusion after the Dolphins' amazing come-from-behind victory over the Ravens on Sunday. PotW Tua Tagovailoa gets Dolphins Team Chemistry and can equip Long Range Deadeye (1 AP) or Set Feet Lead (3 AP) in his custom bucket.
The Legends Theme Team received a pair of upgrades today with WR Chad Johnson and ROLB DeMarcus Ware. You may know him as a Madden Ratings Adjustor but Chad Johnson also played 11 seasons in the NFL for the Bengals and Patriots. Chad Johnson comes with Red Zone Threat (2 AP) and Deep Out Elite (1 AP) to choose from in his custom ability bucket. DeMarcus Ware spent 9 NFL seasons with the Dallas Cowboys before heading to Denver for 3 more, where he would win Super Bowl 50 against the Cam-led Panthers. D Ware comes with Under Pressure (1 AP) and Extra Credit (1 AP) to choose from in his custom ability bucket.
