TOTY Poll: QB - MUT.GG

There are a lot of problems with this voting process, beyond the conspiracy that EA already has these picked out and designed, which I believe to be the case as well.

1. There is no listed criteria for what we are voting for. Team of the Year based on what??? Real life accomplishments, Madden accomplishments, our favorite Team????

2. There is the fact that EA hasn't even told us what OVR these cards will be, and many of the people on the ballot have recently received higher OVR cards, so they may not get voted for, even if deserved. For example, I see a lot of people saying that we should vote for Josh Allen, because his highest card to-date is the free 92 from the last field pass, or Justin Herbert, whose highest card is a 91 OVR. While I think both of those should have higher cards, that fact doesn't make either deserving of being the starting QB on TOTY.

3. They are releasing this so late in the year that a ton of people have quit the game and could care less who wins, and probably won't vote anyway, which actually ties in fine with EA pretending that our votes matter.

4. As my screen name implies, I am a HUGE Chiefs fan. I strongly believe that Patrick Mahomes was the best QB in the NFL this year, and his regular season MVP and Super Bowl MVP tend to confirm that. Having said that, we have had no less than 4-5 Patrick Mahomes cards since Christmas, and once a 99 OVR was released for him, all others became worthless,.
