UC's Tips(#6) The Blitz Promo Explained

Hey guys, seen a TON of questions throughout the forums and in the discord about the blitz promo and how it works and what is the best way to approach the promo and their teams in advance. Hopefully, this thread will give you an explanation for those frequently asked questions.

What is the Blitz promo?

The Blitz promo usually focuses on store offers. During certain time periods (TBA) there will be great offers on players and bundles in the store to usually purchase with MUT Points. The offers are the best they will be all year with great value! Make sure to know what offers you want to purchase ahead of time so you know what time period they're available.

I'm NMS, will I be able to still interact with the promo?

To be honest, the promo is directed mainly towards those who spend money on the game in years past. However, there will still be offers that may use Blitz Bux which is the currency for the program. These, I assume, can be obtained through challenges and then be spent in the store for rewards. Thus, NMS players can still interact with the promo till an extent.

Blitz Bux, as I stated above, is the currency exclusive to the Blitz program. From what's been seen in years past, solo challenges give you a minimal amount of this currency. You may acquire more of it usually by purchasing exclusive bundle and player offers that usually cost points. These can then be used to get Blitz promo players along with packs in the store.

Does the promo usually feature players?

In prior years, the promo is not centered around promo exclusive players. There will usually be some high end cards along with a bit of high elites. The focus of the program isn't its players, so do not expect content player-wise as seen with the Most Feared and Harvest promos.

Should I sell my team?

Before you make the decision on whether or not you sell your team, wait for the offers to be revealed. If you see that some of the offers are great, sell players on your team that can be pulled in the offers and buy them back within a day or two after the offer is put into the store. That way, you can sell high and then buy the same player at a lower cost for a net coin gain. Beware of the 10% AH fee!

The Market Crash!

You have probably heard of this a ton by now. Because of the cheap and enticing offers of the Blitz promo, a lot of packs and bundles are opened resulting in players to drop significantly in price. If you are planning on buying any players soon, I would wait for the Blitz promo to drop before doing so because of prices tanking. Keep this in mind when purchasing store offers as well!

I feel it’s good you pointed out that this “promo“ isn’t so much about the new players, as it is the store deals. With a Black Friday like vibe it gives off, almost anyone with some coins saved up or decent players to sell of early can benefit from Blitz.

Good stuff. I’ll also point out that while the offers won’t be for blitz players, you will earn Blitz Bits for purchasing them. Good stuff, Blitz always fun & I bite with $$$ if something amazing is there but otherwise like you stated, I feed on the market crash which is why it’s wise to save coins now to have that spending spree!

Bo knows type player this yr ? other new abilities possibly .

I remember last yr i lost allot of coin on bo when freeze came out a week later, I think ?crs .

Good to know they will announce the blitz store offers prior……would it be like the day prior or just like throughout  the day of blitz prior to each offer being dropped

Yea usually they release like 3-4 amazing players
