I have a number of free BND players that are significant upgrades to many of my open positions, like a FB at HB. DT as DE, FS as a SS ect. How detrimental is it to play them oop, is it just the team chemistry you lose?

You lose Chem and the “overall” but the card plays the exact same as the stats don’t change
