Week 8 TOTW Reveals

Week 8 has consisted of 6 92 OvR cards. There are 3 defensive players and 3 offensive.  I think aj brown shouldve gotten one with his incredible performance against the steelers. Alvin kamara also really stood out during week 8 and he did get a card.

HERE ARE THE CARDS BELOW 

All these cards are incredibly good. Paul Kruger has 93 PMV one of the highest in the game. Fletcher cox has 92 with 86 speed. Mavin jones jr has 92 speed and he is incredibly tall. Devin Mccourty has 92 speed with 91 zone coverage. And both HB are very good with over 90 speed, 90 acell, and 90 break tackle. I think Aj Brown shoudlve replaced Maurice Jones-Drew. ( no disrespect to jags fans). Eagles got a very good fletcher cox cards with their tt and aj brown wouldve been a crazy add to eagles tt. Browns lacked edge rushers until now with paul kruger replacing jadeveon clowny. Bengals tt still have top 5 wr out of all tt with Jamar Chase, Marvin Jones and Chad Johnson. 

What are your predictions for TOTW week 9? 

Im gonna say there will be a offensive player from the vikings,pats and commanders

There will be defensive players from the jets, dolphins, and packers.

MJD = E. Smith
Kamra = Shady > Forte
McCourty \< Reed but McCourty > Mathieu, Green
MJJr = same as pretty much everyone else. Another "shorter" WR. 1 point of SRR/MRR? Come on man
Cox \< Seymour but Cox = Hamilton/Dockett
Kruger \<\<Floyd but Kruger = Z smith and slightly worse than Ingram/Allen

I don't have any interest in any of these cards. I think you need a bigger, stronger HB this year. Just my opinion but I think MJB and Kamara won't be as effective as what is already out there

McCourty could be ok , I can get his man cvg to 90 and I user Ed Reed so he may be better than Rod Woodson, Woodson is taller and has +3 Man Cvg....Pola Mao is also probably better than McCourty

Marvin is just not better than any of the top WRs out there. He isn't replacing carmichael, Megatron, Rice, B Marsh, etc

Fletcher Cox isn't replacing Seymour with 0 AP defensive rally...maybe he could be DT 2 with inside stuff

Kruger - I can't fathom this card replacing Floyd or Suggs

I personally think this week's TOTW are a huge "L"

Yeah thats why I did equal, greater than or less than but the coding doesnt like it as much. 

Reed is the best by far. Then IMO woodson. If youre pulling from SS you have a few as well. Even more with CBs. 

Marvin is just run of the mill. If he has 90s rr, he may be a notch up but hes just average. 

Yeah Cox would be dt2 at best but then if you already have one of the two other guys you wont need him. 

Floyd isnt getting replaced anytime soon and hes not as good as suggs. 

These are nice for TT or if you dont have a legend team but for Meta nothing new.

Honestly this year passing is the way to go, running the ball isnr much help. A good dump off or wheel to kamara could make a good play. I agree with everything else the cards aren’t very good for like god squads, only improvements for tts.

Well that's the thing.....I don't run a TT except Legends and I am already at 45/40 there. And I found that I can throw out of the backfield to Sweetness or Dickerson just as well as to receiving backs. I have HRM already so I don't need RD apprentice and Backfield master is a waste of AP because it combines mismatch and apprentice........I aubile and run hot routes just fine with non-receiving backs and after the catch they are just as hard to bring down if not moreso

if youre dumping off to the rb thats different than sending them on routes and would be different then :P

But yeah, those catch backs are nice but Ive always loved solid bruiser backs over anything.

well yeah, obviously these cards arent very good we can both say that. I still think that week 8 isnt the worst release...

almost 90 percent of the time i put my rb on a wheel or texas route. texas routes beat man and wheels beat zone. only time i dot reun  a route with my rb is when they run man blitzes

agreed, all totw cards are usually only good for tt

I find that you rarely have time for a wheel route to fully develop so that's one reason I go with non-receiving backs.....Texas routes work with cards like Dickerson almost ss well as they do with receiving backs for me. Wheel routes and if  you split your HB wide in an empty set then yeah, receiving backs are the play. But, texas, flat, ghost routes, all seem to be fine with non-receiving backs.

One other thing, I actually used Edge recently to see what I could do with him in various routes. I ran a few flat routes/table routes and he dropped like 3 in a row. I've seen that before with other backs and even in other years. What the heck is that? I click on and RAC and the ball does this funky animation where it hits his hands and just drops to the ground. no different than I do when the catch is successful. Whether its 65 route running and 70 catching or 90 RR and 85 catching. Same thing. What's up with that

The only card intriguing for an update to my team is the 89 overall Uchenna Nwosu. I’ve got his 86 chemmed up to an 87 as my backup LOLB, but Ted’s starting for me now as a freebie.

I’ll try to snipe him in the 50’s or 60k’s before addding him as a 2-3 overall upgrade to my current Nwosu Replacement.

i head good things about his 89 is very good. I’m not sure how much better than Hendricks tho. Hendricks so talk and fast
