I tried dozko and dzko and they barely lit up, essentially should I run flat or mid zone ko on my out side corners?
I think that all depends on , how you set your zone drops, etc.
Generally, if you don't play much with zone drops, if you run cover 2 then your CBs will generally not be as deep , cover 4 they will be...but that's in stock formations without coverage audibles.
If you spam DB Fire 2 then your CBs will be either blitzing or in flat/mid zones depending on zone drops, etc
Pesronally, if I run that play, I never blitz both . I will either man one up or set him in a different zone

Do you have man abilities on your other CB? Also mid zone KO works almost everywhere on the field but I have mid zone and flat zone on. You should have DZKO on your safeties too

Mid-zone works between the numbers up to 20 yards and outside the numbers between 10-20 yards. DZKO or DZ probably wasn't working because the pass was 20 yards or under and outside the numbers. Or Its possible you were getting cheated. 😆

I have dzko on my safeties I guess I can use a combo of mid and flat zone for outside. My slot corner in man is Jaire Alexander with universal coverage so no need for man Kos
You should be running more plays than just DB Fire lol

Hey Man U possibly just went up against a mega sweat who knows the exact timing for throws to avoid KOs. I played Cedgoated last night(doesn't even stream or anything but is #4 with like 1200 wins😂😂😂😂) and he was able to make throw after throw without my kos doing anything and sometimes there would be 2 kos but he would still catch it. These players are so sweaty to the point where they know the exact throws, timing, and plays to call against certain formations in order to completely avoid KOs. It's honestly ridiculous they're even allowed in the same lobby as everyone else bc they're completely manipulating the game its almost cheating.
I dont think the KO is too OP. I dont have a ton of issues. Midzone inside the redzone can be tough, though.

In a perfect world (running mostly Zone coverage), you'd have Deep Zone KO (but if you can only get one, Deep Out Zone KO, is preferable on outside corners), then perhaps paired with Mid Zone KO.
IMO, Zone KOs are more important than even Pick Artist, as they allow your defender to have improved reaction while i pass coverage, which is a tremendous help, essentially placing your DBs in the correct position to make a play on the ball. From there, they may ultimately just swat at it, but at the very least you should get a pass breakup more often than not. Please be advised that Deep Out Zone KO only works 20 yards down the field and outside the numbers. However, Mid Zone KO can be a little glitchy, it tends to activate in more areas on the field than any other, however I have no real data to back that up, only my personal / anecdotal experiences.
I used to believe that outside corners should always have Deep Zone KO, but lately i'm starting to wonder if Mid Zone KO is better, assuming you can only choose one. With the ultimate goal being to blanket the entire field in various Zone KOs. Defensive philosophy can vary from person to person, however, I'm of the opinion that spending at least 9AP on my DBs is the best approach, with limited AP applied to my D-line. Pass rush abilities (not counting Unstoppable Force & Colossus X-factors) barely work.
