I just got back into mut after about 4 months away and it looks like alot of abilities that used to be good just kinda sucks now. I heard edge protector isnt good anymore and SIE doesnt light up half the time cause i have it on MM Gilmore. Theres also so many different abilities and xfactors now and so little AP to use. They made the LTDs and high level cards as the only ones with good discounts it seems. Just wondering which are the best abilities and even xfactors to use since ive been out of the loop for awhile.
On defense you need lurk artist it is like Lurker but much better and free on a lot of cards, for the budget I recommend 90 Anthony Walker
On offense, it is really it is mainly qb ability. Like last year gunslinger, hrm, sfl, and the new one is gift wrapped.
DDA DDA AND MORE DDA
But if you cant get DDA...
Set Feed Lead QB
Identified on any OLine so you can avoid throwing to the user
Lurk Artist/Pick Artist on any coverage player
Inside Stuff on DT
No Outsiders on Edge
Is fearless still in the game? I havent seen it at all this year.
Identifier on Offense.
Lurker on Defense.
Those in the Elite Tier are the best and are most def worth using (especially Lurk Artist; linebackers are animating for the first time in years; DBs are also starting to get Lurk Artist as well, basically what Acrobat was for them in M22). I don't think there's any QB that can get both HRM and SFL as abilities (some can get one as an ability and another as an X-Factor that you must activate; you can either get a QB like that or get a QB with SFL and find players that have apprentice abilities for 1 AP). Inside Stuff is a very good ability to use on your d-line. Try and pick up someone who can get it for 1 AP. Juke Box is the best ability to use if you have 1 AP to spare on offense. Hopefully we see more players start to get Identifier for 1 AP so that can be an option as well (currently the only player that does is CH2 Jon Runyan).
