What do you mean remove yellow zones? And what do the colors represent in zone Coverage? I have been trying g to figure out the knockouts I want but I'm a little confused with the purple zones especially. Does flat zone ko cover that cuz the center of the circle looked to be right at 10 yards

They probably mean changing the players in yellow zones to either deep blue zones or to be blitzing so the middle of the field is open.
The colors represent different types of zones. They use different colors so you can more easily identify what zones you are using.
Flat zone ko covers throws that are outside the numbers and 0-10 yards from the LOS. Mid zone ko covers throws 0-20 yards from the LOS inside the numbers as well as throws 10-20 yards from the LOS and outside the numbers. Deep Out Zone KO is for passes that are 20+ yards from the LOS and outside the numbers. And finally deep in zone ko is for passes 20+ yards from the LOS and inside the numbers. But deep in zone ko doesn't seem to be as powerful as the others.
The KO that is right for your scheme is going to depend on what type of zone coverage you play and what throws you want help taking away. Many good players alter the depths of their zones. Because of how the KOs work it's better to choose zone KOs based off the location of your players rather than name of the zones. For example, if I play a flat zone but have my flat zone depth set to 15 yards I want mid zone KO rather than flat zone ko.

How do I change my depths of coverage? And I have been running nickel dime dollar. I have pa dzko and flatzko on outside cbs and pa aceo and flat on slots and pa acro and mzko on sublb. So mid zone seem to maybe be better for slot cbs? I like tampa 2 and some other zone plays but I seem to always get burned any reson for that? I have a good team and am tweakin it all the time

You can change the depth on the zones by using coach adjustments. You can access coach adjustments by tapping the right stick/r3 on the play selection screen.
For base tampa 2, midzone KO is probably the best ko for a slot cb.
Every defense has a weakness. If you're getting burned, chances are that your opponent has a good understanding of what you're running and is calling plays to beat your defense. This is why it's important to be able to make adjustments and have a few different plays/looks to keep your opponent off balance.
The best is to do solo battles on a difficult setting like MVP. The computer won’t fumble and you can play prevent. They will throw short passes and you can easily get 10-15 tackles per drive. FG Block for the INT when they get inside the 10 yard line, rinse and repeat.

Yes, I tried it a minute ago and it seemed to be working. They were doing server maintenance earlier so that may have been the issue

Wonderful explanation -- i have been playing ALL year and only just now realized that Flat Zone KOs only cover areas outside the numbers. I had absolutely no idea that Mid Zone KO worked from 0-20 yards (from LoS) inside the numbers. Only thing i was aware of was the simple fact that Deep Inside Zone KO appears to be basically broken. Don't use it. Always Deep Out Zone KO. Well, unless you can achieve Universal Coverage X-factor (especially passive abilities), which are ALL the KOs, both zone & man, wrapped into a single ability. Next to Phenom, it's quite possibly one of, if not THE best abilities in the entire game, IMO.
Unstoppable Force used to be this good, but it hasn't really seemed relevant in months... unless you get it for 0AP, even then yer probably still better off using UC / KOs.
