What’s an attribute that’s missing? By attribute, I mean things like speed, acceleration, throw power, etc. I think adding a clutch attribute like in mlb the show would be great. I know there’s already a clutch trait but that is too general in my opinion. I could see this clutch attribute being in effect in the red zone or in the 4th quarter/OT

Well right now it’s just yes or no so there is no in-between and I think an attribute would help that
There might be something better to call it but I would make Effort a stat.
Players with high effort would be more likely to block for the ball carrier and dive for otherwise unreachable balls on offense. I would also have it determine how likely a wr is to try and get open when the qb is scrambling
On defense, I would have it determine how likely a DB is to get involved in the run game, how likely a dlineman is to try and bat down a pass, and whether or not a player will go full speed to pursue the ball carrier/intended receiver.
Players with low effort would be less likely to run a good route if they're not running the Red route in the play art. When cpu controlled ball carriers with low effort would be less likely to attempt breaking tackles.
On defense, I'm thinking dline with low effort stats would be less likely to attempt multiple block sheds. Defends in coverage with low effort will be less likely to attempt pass breakups.
This is something that I would like to see at least in franchise mode for added realism
I dont think clutch would be better as a stat imo, seems its probably fine now
like what does a 70 clutch rating vs a 99 vs an 85 do exactly in those scenarios?

Maybe you break a tackle you wouldn’t have otherwise. Certain stats could be boosted in clutch situations
