What OVR is considered "good" at this point?

I'm still rocking Flacco at a 95 OVR  team....gonna keep grinding for Trevor and Calvin

A 97 team is good right now. But Overall isn’t as important as having the right players with the right abilities/scheme.

If you’ve never played H2H then you can absolutely get whooped by much lower OVR teams. It takes a lot of time, patience, and sweat to get good at playing against human opponents.

The best advice I can give is on offense don’t just go for the deep ball (big play), instead look for the open receiver. If you are playing against someone really good don’t quit out right away, stick around and try to watch and learn from what they are doing.

Depends on your scheme. A 95 ovr team can compete with the best if you know what you're doing.

That’s exactly what I did. Dude beat me by 20, I stuck with the game and picked up some tips. Adjusted my abilities a bit, cam back and beat the next guy by 16.

Just keep at it and try to have some fun while you’re playing. Sounds like you’re off to a good start in H2H.

Scheme over Team…

if you know to attack & defend the meta, you’ll be fine. 
 

Having the correct abilities to match your scheme is important. I’ve seen people on here post that they run zone but are using CBs with no zone discount.

i think 95 is the min though, around Christmas the cards started getting the discounts that we still use today.

OVR doesnt matter.  You can have a top end 98 OVR team will all the best players and get absolutely drilled online if you don't know what you are doing by a team with 93s in their top 3.  It all depends on how good you are.  The gap between the bottom and the middle is so big in this game.

Funny you mention that, because I got absolutely drilled by a team with 93s in their top 3 last night. I came back and beat the next guy, who had nothing but 99s in his top 3, which just proves your point.

If you're in legends and are on a 10 game win streak and run into some 93s, bet that he knows what hes doing LOL.

Makes me want to get REAL good so I can roll into March with a 90 OVR squad and just drill people.
