Dave Robinson is still the best IMO even though he's a step slower than the others but of the other 3 I think you can plug in Luke over the others and be just fine.

I have Ed Reed but have him as my CPU controlled FS (I have Troy , Budda, Justin Simmons, Derwin also in my lineup). Ed is great anywhere honestly. Even at CB

I decided to sell Willis and replaced him with Luke. WOW, he's so much better, both as a CPU-controller player and a user. I want to get Dave but will wait for (hopefully) Reduxes. Do you really notice his 90 man coverage rating?

That's awesome to hear. Ed Reed is a top 10 favorite player for me.

That's the goal. I know both my dline and coverage users could use some work. I'm taking it one day at a time

either the ss i have at sub lb (either berry 90 or pola-mao 89) or whichever LB is in coverage. idk why people all of a sudden need lurk artist to have a usable lb ive been usin em since madden 21

user is tough. Takes a while to get used to usering each position whether it’s mlb,OLB,fs,SS, even a corner is fun to user in the right situations ( soft squat) . But you gotta spend a little time with one before you start mixing it up. Highly recommend going to training camp, advanced techniques, user coverage. Will teach you how to strafe and use the new crossover locomotion feature to get in and out of your breaks faster. I’ve been laughed at for recommending training camp but trust me, you’ll learn a whole lot better there than in H2h .

I always have a LB and a SS as my sub LBers. I just use Lurker on my MLB.

Greatly appreciate the advice. I'm always willing to learn and practice. I think we can always improve.

training camp is really beneficial mainly to just gettking the movement aka locomotion aka “feel” of the players down. How they handle, get in and out of breaks, what you can and cannot do with certain players etc. You’ll get a lot of reps in training camp and there’s no pressure. They do set it up to be difficult though so youll struggle to get a bronze at first but youll See immediate results from training camp 💯

That sounds very beneficial indeed! I used to feel tons of pressure in H2H (for various reasons, lol) but this will help to lessen that even more.

If I'm leaning toward them running I'll use a safety to fill and cover deep middle if I guessed wrong. Otherwise I use MLB

Depending on my opponent's formation, I come out in 3-4 Odd, 43 Even 6-1; Big Nickel, or Nickel 2-4... but in any of these I'm usering an MLB that has Lurker. I've been through the upgrade progression from Seau to BWagz to Crowder to Te'o to Lewis to Willis... and now Devin White. It was a challenge at first with the 85 SPD guys but Willis was great and Devin White is even better at 92 SPD.

I can remember when I first started playing ten years ago... I started as a DLine user (like we all do). But in reading the forums, I realized that to "git gud" I had to make the move to usering someone in coverage. I've tried usering deep Safeties but I just don't like that scheme. I prefer to be underneath routes with my user.

It's rare that I play against a DLine user. When I do, I immediately think my opponent is a novice and I'm in for an easy game. That's not to say that slipping in an occasional user rush isn't an effective tactic - you can definitely catch someone off guard on a critical down. But if you know it's coming then it's pretty easy to make sure you have 2-3 quick hitting routes on every play... and you can always incorporate run plays that go away from their user.
