Who is better? TOTY Surtain or Ward

I need help who do I choose, the Surtain or Ward, I have no TT rn so just in terms of who's better.

Ward, he is 1 speed faster and if you power him up and have the 2 defense speed strat items he will hit 99 speed whereas surtain will only hit 98

I’d saying you’re running a Broncos Theme Team, grab Surtain. Otherwise I think Denzel Ward has more benefits for any other run team/defense.
