which would be your top 99 rookie premier pick for M24 after completing the sets?

FANTASTIC question and one i'm currently debating with myself. Finally built my first RP set last evening, but haven't made my selection. If i'm being brutally honest, none of these cards are really leaping off the page at me. Probably will come down to greatest position of need. At the moment I am considering (in order):
- Brooks HB -- Gibbs feels extremely good, only advantage here would be to gain 49ers team chems on my featured back
- Odunze WR -- needed baked on Double Me a ~week ago, but now i have a few really decent options here to beat Bottleneck Man Press meta, so less urgent
- Arnold CB -- lack of tackling ability makes this a questionable choice for me, if you cannot tackle, it's difficult for me to want to play you, although i'm making an exception right now for DRC
Love to hear your thoughts or who you are leaning towards and obviously your ultimate decision. Good luck! The whole "best available" player drafting method doesn't seem to work here, so I'm almost certainly going to be drafting based on need.
Latham. Maybe Fiske DT.
The rest are obsolete.
Brooks no Truzz. Not paying 4 mill to fumble once a game
Free Puka Nacua so no need for Rome
Turner like Jayden Daniels has similar stacks on several people not costing 4 mill at this point
JD release and no Truzz
Nubin is the most obsolete card other than for TT
Aaaaand
Arnold no tacking but he’s on my TT.

I made Latham day 1. Can’t do any solo challenges and was going to use my tokens on Arnold and do the 3rd set when I want a diff RP. So just Latham and Arnold. Things get fixed maybe Fiske or Brooks. Most likely Fiske
Gonna do Fiske and the giants safety since i really have no use for anyone else.
I’d take Tyler nubin
I settled on Latham and Rome, happy with both, thanks for the input!

Grats on your selections. Latham looked fantastic, but the lack of 1AP Threat Detector is what has prevented him from landing on my squad. I ended up taking Brooks with my first RP choice, probably will follow your lead and choose Odunze with the second. Although, at this point, i have so many great options for Bottleneck Man Press beating receivers, so it's less of a pressing issue. Otherwise this would have been the clear first choice, IMO.
I was on the fence with Brooks, I'll get him with the tokens from the field pass.
Arnold followed by Odunze

I gave Arnold a hard look, I've got too many options on corner as it is.

Ya, getting Randy (CB) and freebie Gronk gave me plenty of excuses to not choose a DB, especially one without the ability to reliably tackle players. Kind of a deal breaker, IMO.
Brooks is, well... okay. I still think i prefer Gibbs, he's so small he just fits through gaps in the O-line that otherwise i'm not able to dart through. Gonna try to feature Brooks for another evening of online H2H play before i revert to Gibbs, we shall see. Kind of unfortunate that there were/are no clear elite choices for RP sets. Hardly "Premier" anything.
None of these RP options for 24 are better than the players that I already have at those positions. I took Rome Odunze and sold my CeeDee Lamb. Odunze plays just like Lamb and honestly if you put and 88 on his jersey, I don't think you could tell them apart.
I will finish the RP set when the last token is available from Challenges, but doubt I will do the 3rd one, unless the 99's become more affordable. I have right at $1M and could liquidate another $2M from the team easily, but won't do so unless I can make the 3rd one with my available funds. Definitely not spending money in July.
The real question to me is who to take in 25, not who to take in 24. I am holding out hope that the Fantasy Pack in M25 includes one for all teams, not just the 8 from M24.
