He’s the dollar killer. All the guys with 12 AP on DBs and stuffing runs the last 3 months are crying a river of tears because they don’t want to move out of their meta setups.

Dillon breaks the first tackle but after that he's a normal power back. Unless you get lucky or play someone bad or someone who pass commits , you'd need 10+ runs to drive down the field with AJ, whereas every run with ED was a home run. That ED card is probably the most OP card in the history of Madden, that, Vick, Finneran, and a few others...I am talking since 1988. Quadfather is not in that class. Great card, great x factor, breaks the first tackle....but if you drop him for a loss 2x (and I've knocked many Quadfathers out of the zone already), he's an average power back.
Dickerson was a home run threat every down all game long
To respond to OP, yes...his x factor is always on unless he gets stopped for a loss 2x because of his X factor and the persistent ability. Normally 1 tackle for a loss would knock a card out of the zone.
Agreed, I am having fun using Quadfather but I actually think even the Bo Knows ability on Bo Jackson & GT William Perry last year was harder to stop than this card.
Nowhere near the level of Dickerson.
I love that A.J. Dillon has such an OP card and is this year's 2020 Dickerson/2022 Derrick Henry. I live near Green Bay, so I've been following him on social media for the past few years. He's great and hilarious as a person. He's been deemed the "Mayor of Door County" (the penisula of Wisconsin next to Green Bay) (one of his AKA challenges is titled "The Mayor of Door Country" - again, EA mistitled something associated to him, as he is actually known as "Quadzilla" and not "Quadfather, but EA is being EA again). This is because he lives there and is constantly going to bars and restaurants there and tweeting about them, making him a very popular figure in the area. He is a fun guy who's been good for the Packers. His first half of this season wasn't good, but he stepped it up and put up good numbers the second half.

i skipped 20 🤷♂️
I played that year and had him, pretty sure prople eventually moved on. He came out as one of the 10 madden anniversary card if I remember well, the last one of which was Randy Moss and you got a free one like Aka now. So it was fairly early in the mut year
Like many have said, it doesn't compare to Dickerson. He broke almost every run and would fall forward 4-5 yards when getting gang tackled. Not even close

People moved on cause they finally nerfed him after a month or 2

Dickerson that year powered up to a 98 and with sprinter chem he got to 99. he was used through end game until EA nerfed him

As a former Dickerson user, he indeed was broken. I believe if that Dickerson was on current Gen or an upgraded last Gen where more than 3 players can have abilities, he wouldn’t have been as broken. Bo Jackson GT on the other hand……

Yep that Bo is another one. The Vick too.
