I need a new scheme, gotta do something to try and change it up. Started the year with Jets before ultimately settling on fEagles offense for most of the year, recently tried Broncos briefly, but still jumping around a bit. Long story short, I've rarely used Bo (QB) with Truzz to build out a triple threat scheme, hoping to branch out for once, try something new or different.
When it comes to outside runs, if a person wanted to stack up on the best available blockers, which stat(s) could or should be prioritized? I fully understand that OOP TEs, using either Vanguard or Honorary Lineman ability would almost certainly be THE best, but from a pure statistical standpoint, which of the following should be prioritized, versus which are potentially "fake" stats that barely seem to matter in the blocking calculations? Prior to EA finally rolling back the fatigue/stamina nonsense, it became obvious how important weight is factored into overall blocking, but what else is truly important beyond that??
- RBK - Run Blocking
- RBF - Run Block Finesse
- RBP - Run Block Power
- LBK - Lead Blocking
- IBL - Impact Blocking
At the moment i've got Isaac Bruce as WR1, with Runoff Elite, but jury is still out how truly effective that ability may be -- i'm honestly not sure if it does much of anything at all, but for 0AP, i'll continue tinkering and trying. Heeeeath Miller and Bo Jackson are my current Tight Ends, both can get Vanguard, but i'm more interested (at the moment) in how, or if, these statistics work out.
Blocking_ForceMaxTimerToBreakAgainstWR
Forces a maximum timer to break on blocking against a wide receiver.
Basically, i've pulled a list of all TE & WR players then sorted that by "Run Block" statistic, to give myself a rough outline, using this filter here. Thanks in advance, for anyone who can school me on the finer points of run blocking calculations, especially surrounding non-traditional blockers, i.e. WRs.
