Will Madden 25 be worth it?

I've decided to quit Madden.

I've played Madden 22, 23, and 24. All of them I feel have been wastes of times. All of them have been the exact same. I've spent a embarrassing amount of money in 22 and 23 (we're talking about like 500$ each)

Will Madden 25 be any different? Will it be worth spending 60$ on a game I've never even liked?

Of course not. Anything EA makes is  waste of time

The franchise hasn't exactly been trending upward in terms of quality for well over a decade.  Frankly, the only reason I'm still playing is because I have some sort of virtual football addiction.

After this year if they make no drastic changes going forward, its best to spend your valued time doing other things. This company dont give a fk anymore,why should we.

It’s different from person to person. If you still have fun, or like football only get it. My caveat is I don’t know nor do I think old gen should get the new Madden as they are already being left out on so much ability wise I am upgraded but stuck on old gen for the year It’s not fun having cards that are great for current but are unusable for old gen because we don’t get something like lurk artist. I highly recommend upgrading to current gen if you want Madden 25 that’s it.

its just copy and paste year after year……so many of the same cards, same programs……even when they come out with “new” programs they are basically the same concept of a previous years program just with a different label on it……only things that ever changes is the levels of incompetence from the madden team at ea……u just accept it for what it is and roll with the punches if u wanna but no fault for quitting(i personally didnt even want the game this year but got it as an xmas gift, so it is what it is)

M24 was a colossal waste of my time but I had fun and it helped me destress from work.

If M25 has the AH I’m back, if not I’m onto the next timesink

If this is just hyperbole carry on, but if you truly feel it’s always been a waste of your time and you’ve never actually liked it please don’t get the next one. There are so many wonderful things in this world dont do yourself the disservice of investing yourself into something not worthwhile to you.

Here's how it'll go:

Tantalising trailer will drop. It'll have a couple of things that EA took out of the game put back in. They'll be some cool animation that never makes it into the game. A select band of Youtubers will collectively wet their pants. Rayweather will prolapse live on screen. 

Another longer trailer will follow. Cue pants wetting etc.

Closed Beta will be shitcanned by most and praised to the heavens by the same Youtubers who've just changed into dry pants. EA shills and Clint (after months of focus group BS) will release some glib little presser with "we've listened to the community" and "taken onboard feedback". Almost certainly we'll have something with 2.0 attached. My bet is 'Sapien Technology'. Or is that at 2.0 already?

Game will be universally dumped on by the community. Metacritic and IGN will be literally 10,000,000 miles apart. Angry Joe will prolapse live on screen but for different reasons. It'll be the same game with a roster update. Maybe they'll shave a few pixels off the shoulder pads and added an extra helmet or something.

Sadly, I'll buy it. Because I have no choice.

never worth it. just rather pay 60 yearly for arcade football & stay inside some nights.

I wont be preordering this year. Most likely will wait till around Christmas or just a discount
