Tomorrow we're getting a bunch of 98+ OVR players between TOTY and S4. I expect their stats to be crazy good. By the time we're getting straight 99s for Champions/LTDs, it'll be easy to have mostly 98-99 stats (especially with the right Strategy Items). So will the boosts that TTs give even matter by then?
Near end game chem boosts always start to become less important.......And I like it like that because I can run the players I like. Typically that consists mostly of Legends anyway but this way I don't have to worry about 40/40 or 50/50.
Yeah but by the time that happens, 99s will be rolling out. So at least not for another month or two. I think the only point of theme teams, really, is to get a more competitive team early on instead of having a God squad. like my 97 Mills CB card has 99 on every stat so that’s like an end game card.
I’ve already abandoned TT boosts anyways. Still have mostly Legends but if we get good UL’s I might do a couple of the UL chem, otherwise I’m just trying to have some fun at this point.
For skill positions like RB, WR, DB, yes. For d line, o line, LB and TE the extra physical ratings boosts will always be nice. Last year I played with the 94 OOP Brandon Marshall MLB card until I got M23 because he was chem’d to a 99. There’s still a portion of the community, however small, that uses lower overall players at the end of the year because they like them more than the meta end game players. I’ll still be using 96 Daniel Jones at the end of the year if they don’t give the Giants anything better. And I don’t mean a 99 overall QB that gets all team chems. You could not pay me to use that 99 Dak in M21
if you're nms, tts are pretty much the only way to stay competitve and by the time everyone has 99 god squads we've all quit the game by then
