It was above avg
Very good.. The Oline cards are end game and improved the overall game meta.. The O-line cards negate a lot of the man blitzes
Not counting presents it was solid
I stole this from Gent btw with a twist of my OWN opinion
Field Pass - Solid rewards and easy to level up. Just wish there was more to it since it still has 2 weeks and most people have already maxed it out.
Players - They sucked, and i played less than i was warranted to because of it
Presents - Presents themselves weren't bad, but the content was a bit disappointing. It felt like some of the presents would only give you cards out of 3 or 4 different promos. I wish there was more variety from the gifts (also pretty lame that Ghosts couldn't be pulled in any of them). Then you had the fiasco of some players getting hundreds of XL gifts that ended up basically giving some people tens of millions of coins. EA’s screw up is what saved them.
House Rules - ERROR 404 NOT FOUND. MUTnerd.exe has stopped working. not worth it.
Overall, the promo was mid and there are thousands of core elites in the game who are pro bowlers with no card in the game thanks EA for not caring.
It started off really well. A few current players that deserved upgrades, new legends like Sean Taylor and OOP guys like Megatron. House rules was pretty cool, especially after they made the progress go faster. Solo HR was a bit of a grind and not really worth it for me. Challenges were OK with decent rewards, but seemed to be aimed at people who only got Madden during Thanksgiving or for Christmas and who could really use the snowball players and solo HR guys (which is great! I was one of those guys in 2016).
Part 2 was still OK, but 3 and 4 were very lame imo. Recycling legends and giving minor upgrades to guys when there are plenty of current players who play very well but still only have a core elite. Add that to the present opening fiasco and the Field Pass that progressed too fast and my conclusion is that EA left too much potential on the table.
It was ok imo. Release 1 and Ghosts of Past where the best. Some of the LTD were real head scratchers that really were not great cards. 92 stocking staffers were great for TTs otherwise they were just set fodder. I think release 3 and 4 were not very good at all. I also think presents were a huge let down. This promo is supposed to be the pinnacle of the mut season and it really was just meh. Dont get me wrong it was a good way to profit and build up coin and tp stacks. I just was not very engaged with it after the presents debacle on Christmas morning and im glad to see it over with.
