I am relatively new to mut. I have spent a lot of money and quite frankly have a stacked lineup/depth chart. I just am unclear exactly the meta or ideal way of how you build your depth chart. For example, my SS is my sub LB, which I imagine is similar to most good depth charts. Do you guys worry about who the backup SS is on your depth chart for reasons like this? Does the 5th CB ever really see the field? Or on that note, do any backups see the field (since there are never injuries)? Do you even put players in backup positions?
I just cant seem to grasp the backup concept or when/how they really come into play.
Additionally, how often do you play guys out of position, regardless of chemistry. I cant figure out how much that really affects the players attributes.
Lastly, with LB's, I have 88+ players at ROLB, MLB, and LOLB....is that even necessary? I feel like I hardly ever even see my OLB's on the field.
Just looking for any tips or helpful info as it applies to building my defense. Thanks!
