Georgia has shown inconsistencies, but as far as I can remember UGA has never been a team that attacks right out of the gate and dominates opponents offensively. The SEC usually has superior conditioning compared to other conferences, and UGA uses that to its advantage to wear out teams in the second half.
Ohio State usually dominates its regular season schedule but then fizzles out once it reaches the playoffs. SEC teams are just way too physical and Jaxon Smith-Njigba isn't performing the way people thought he would. But I don't think Michigan is going to challenge them for the Big 10 this year so they'll likely make the CFP.
Alabama is Alabama, no matter how many mistakes they make in the season. Losing Bryce Young may have been a blow, but I don't think they'll struggle too much in the meantime. However, this current Alabama team doesn't seem to have the depth or explosiveness that it had last year or in years before with elite receivers flying up and down the field. Gone are Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, Jameson Williams and John Metchie. And it doesn't look like anyone is stepping up to make up for the lack of production.
Clemson is interesting. Last year was one of the worst years I've seen from them, but they still manage to stay close to the upper tier of college football teams. They haven't been bad this year, but they haven't been impressive either. Without any other team making a legitimate push in the ACC, they'll likely make the CFP, but Strength of Schedule may hurt them and I suspect they'll end up at the 4 spot. A Georgia-Clemson CFP game could be interesting.
Tennessee is a big question mark. They have a chance to upset Alabama, but I don't see it happening and I also don't see them upsetting Georgia. I think they make a good push for the CFP but come up just short and instead have to be satisfied with a NY6 Bowl.

Georgia at 1 is crazy and fs unbiased. I understand why you don't believe in Tennessee. Clemson is my team, and they are the only team that has beaten 2 top 15 teams. I think they deserve top 3. I just hate Alabama, but they actually haven't looked good

Georgia is number one right now in the AP poll. I wouldn't say it's crazy.

bro AP Poll is crazy biased for SEC teams lmao they should've dropped struggling vs Kent State then almost losing to Missouri out of bama Georgia and Ohio State OSU has been the most consistent out of those 3.They should've dropped out the top 5 same with bama almost losing to texas Clemson's been playing better than them and i fucking hate clemson lmao

OSU has never impressed me, even when they have good teams. The reason SEC teams are usually favored is because it's been a pattern of SEC teams usually winning the national championship. Fact of the matter is an undefeated team in the SEC is more impressive than an undefeated team in any other conference. And I'm not sold on Clemson, especially since they still have the quarterback from last year.

ok so ur clearly a SEC fan but how has OSU never impressed u 2014 were the underdogs in every playoff game yet won with a 3rd string QB. but that's not important rn it's not impressive that ur undefeated if u almost lost to a unranked team that's bad and struggled against another that's worse that just makes the top 3 look weak that the supposed top "2" teams almost lost to a unranked team and the other did twice like i said i don't like clemson but they deserve to be in the top 3 over bama for sure. like what bananas said Clemson is truly #2 i have OSU #1 out of consistency then Clemson then Georgia and prob Tennessee or USC over bama

Ok but don't be surprised if an SEC team wins the national championship. There will always be claims that the powerhouses have fallen in college football but it never actually happens.

nobody will be surprised if an SEC team wins the natty, but I just need you to understand that clemson is gonna win.

Respect for sticking with your team. I’ll be doing the exact same.
Until proven otherwise, Georgia is #1 for me.

Not sure if you are aware that Jaxon Smith- Njigba has played like four drives this year because he hurt his hamstring on the first drive against Notre Dame
