Ngl I’ve never even heard of Mike Anderson until now. But I wasn’t even alive during his career so I suppose I have an excuse. Also I didn’t realize they had 3 teams per division all the way up until the Texans entered the league. Pretty interesting window to the past for sure

Anderson is a pretty neat story. He actually spent four years in the Marine Corps before getting drafted. He was a 28 year old rookie. His rookie statline was impressive, especially considering he was replacing Terrell Davis. He totaled over 1400 rushing yards and 15 tds, all capped off by a monster 251 yard, 4td game against the saints in week 13.
