According to FOX Sports, the Raiders have benched QB Jimmy Garroppolo in favor of rookie Aidan O'Connel, the announcement came shortly after it was announced that the team was parting ways with HC Josh McDaniels, GM Dave Ziegler, and OC Mike Lombardi. The decision comes after one of the worst games of the struggling Garroppolo's career, going 10 for 21 for 126 yards, 1 interception, and 6 sacks against the Lions on Monday night, droppong the Raiders to 3-3 on the season.
O'Connel will make his second career start next week against the 2-6 Giants.
