I did note a calculation error in the spread sheet though. The calculated speed for slinger 1 is .711 but your trial s average out to .797, likewise the traditional 3 figures to 1.011 a slight bit faster than the chart shows at 1.056.
Adjusting for these corrections: Slinger 1 is still by far the fastest release followed by:
Traditional 2 -11% slower
Generic 3 - 23% slower
Traditional 1 - 24% slower
Slinger 2- 24% slower
Traditional 3- 27% slower
Generic 2- 29% slower
Slinger 3- 30% slower
Slinger 4- 33% slower
Traditional 4- 34% slower
Generic 1- 34% slower
Traditional 5- 44% slower

I'm counting frames in a video editor and finding out release times for both gen of Madden 22 and comparing them to Madden 20/21.

At this moment I don't know. Trying to find an accuracy way to get past/legends qb releases. According to last year he had Slinger 2 .

Marino and Rodgers can get passing abilities that mariota can't. With certain passing abilities such as PLE, gunslinger, and SFL it's a increase in the release time compared to running the qb with no abilities.

Technically it's slinger 2 from last year but I wanted to be 100% accurate because a lot of qbs throwing types have changed this year.

Every single QB release including legends/past qbs . As of right now, I couldn't find any QB with Traditional 2.

In order from best to worst based on rankings

Slinger 1 is Rodgers, Marino, Mariota, Jake Plummer, Derric…
