So, in a lowest level Solo Battle my QB suddenly underthrowing balls has to do with the defense being better? At that setting my 97 Mike Williams blows by everyone with ease, but has to too frequently reach back for the ball when he never had to before. Use some logic. That has NOTHING to do with the defenders being better. NOTHING.

Then please read. On the lowest level Solo Battles, my 97 Mike Williams can streak past defenders and get open by 10-20 yards EASILY. Defenders are nowhere near him. Defenders are nowhere near my Herbert in the pocket. But suddenly the passes are falling short forcing Williams into that reach back animation.
We aren't talking H2H in this case which is why it is so obvious. And on a 47/50 Chargers TT Herbert is a 92 now he is serviceable.

Well then I'm not sure what kind of advice you want. Yes, EA nerfs cards as they become outdated to prevent older cards from still being competitive, meaning that buying the newer cards is necessary to maintain a competitive team.
I have not had any trouble throwing deep passes with Stafford, and I believe he has the same base throw power as Herbert. It may just be that you don't necessarily need a higher overall QB, but just a more recent one.

it does because if ur qb gets hit more he gets more tired meaning he has a outdated stamina and since the defense is better and getting more pressure / QB hits maybe sacks that is making him tired ergo less throw power ergo underthrowing receivers

Have you EVER played Solo Battles on the lowest setting? You can run streaks every play and no defender gets close to your QB or WR and I run Fearless on Herbert by the way.
Might as well be in practice mode with no opponent defense on the field. Only reason he started underthrowing is EA nerfing the cards. Why are so many of you so trusting with EA?
