what is the best strategy item to have for defense and offense

I think it is pretty hard to name a best setup. It depends on how you play. I'm an average player, and I mostly grind  solos and challenges. I'm currently using elite Bull Rush on Defense (since I like to play the D-line) and elite Pave the Way on Offense (mostly because I'm a terrible runner without it). I went ahead and matched them with Strong Arm on both to get the extra +1 THP.

The bull rush and let it rip from the epic is pretty solid just make sure you get matching items so you get the extra boost
