Something I never thought I’d actually type out with real meaning. Every week I’ve been telling myself “it’s been a great season no matter what”, they just keep winning. My beard is out of control and it’s not getting trimmed for another two weeks! WHO DEY!

Insane. My dad’s a lifelong Bengals fan for football and baseball and he’s suffered quit a bit the last 34-ish years.

We moved to the Cincy area back in 1996, talk about some miserable years. Then being in the army and all over the place and ppl always taking pity on me as a bengals fan like we’re a sideshow (which we were) but good lord it feels good now. I couldn’t be happier for that city.

Do you get a lot of “why the heck are you a Cincy fan”? I got that a lot as a Chargers fan in the military since I was nowhere near San Diego at all back then. Either way, it’s paying off now for you. That’s why we stick with our teams through thick and thin. The success is always sweeter then.

Yeah everywhere, when I was in Afghanistan we’d have madden tournaments and I’d always have to explain why I’m picking the Bengals lol. So true tho, sticking it out for so long has abs made this year’s ride that much more fun.
