Seems like year after year competition gets stiffer and stiffer is everybody using e books? seems blitzes come so fast I can’t even get a whip route open. I feel like you have to run edge protector and add a blocker to get any time. Thoughts?

Yeah the meta blitzes are pretty fast this year and man coverage is much better than last year so it’s easier for people to mindlessly run them.
If you’re struggling to get the ball out fast enough try more slants, drags, and send the RB on a quick drag. The RB is almost always supposed to be covered by a SubLb and if you send him out quick, the coverage normally doesn’t get there fast enough.
Also it’s best to stay in Gun formations. If the QB is up at the line of scrimmage the D is going to get to him way faster.

As your hidden matchmaking rating goes up, eventually you'll get to a point of nothing but god squads and people who have put in the time to learn advanced strategies from YouTube/Twitch/ebooks. If you want to keep climbing, you'll have to match them or put in a ton of time in practice mode to come up with your own schemes.
