Your lineup doesn't look too bad, ETTJ is probably showing his age out there but still viable. Your issues could be more in abilities, play calling and adjustments TBH, you may want to hit up practice mode and see what you can do to generate more pressure while maintaining coverage.
If I was going to make any upgrades to the defense, I would get another edge rusher to complement Bruce Smith. I use Simmons since I like Sapp at DT, but you can use Lawrence Taylor who is a beast there with DoN/ET. Demarcus Ware also would be amazing there but is way more costly.
If you're usering Sean Taylor, you shouldn't have him at FS1, you should probably get FS Peppers, that height and his abilities make him so good over top. SS Ted Hendricks is also good overtop if you want an upgrade at SS1, you could then move Kam to SS2 or your sublb2 to complement Taylor.
Overall, I think you're in a pretty good spot to wait for CH2 since we get a stream on it tomorrow and the release should hopefully be Thursday that way you can see what upgrades to make then.
I can't speak much to your team outside I think that it is very flashy. I am jealous of Calvin/Carmichael at corners & O-line. How you generated the coin required for this is another subject though and I think maybe you are using a shithouse playbook if you use the Broncos D. 2-3-6 Dime is nothing compared to normal dime unless you run a lot of press quarters. Having to use the Quarter set versus a 4 WR set stinks compared to normal dime. I think the best books on D are Carolina(normal dime) & New England(2-3-6 dime). Both have the means to shut down the run a few differing ways and more importantly are extensive in their nickel/dime sub packages versus the pass.
