Im personally using the playoffs steve young, and hes pretty solid. I only bought him because denard robinson is absolute butt cheeks he literally stops running to throw the ball instead of throwing on the run.

It depends on what abilities you like to run. Do you need HRM? SFL? Something else? Since they nerfed QB pressure I feel like running fearless isn't worth it.  Do you scramble? If you want to run an option then Lamar is the obvious choice. There are budget options  that still get the job done like Rogers. There's cheap pocket passers like Bledsoe that get great abilities.
