Jamal Adams aka challenge glitch?

Trying to play thru the solo challenges and on Jamal adams first one the bonus objective is to intercept a pass. Every time I try it and intercept a pass it doesn't give me credit for it. It immediately goes red. Anyone else experience this?

Has anyone found a work around? Is it one of those challenges where they programmed it backwards and you got to finish it without getting it interception?
