Will You Pick Up Any Of The New AKA Cards?

I always pick up all of Lamar’s new cards, so he’s an easy choice for me (I’ll decide whether to use Fearless or HRM on him). 

Tyreek Hill gets 1 AP Route Tech, and we all know how good that ability has been not only this year, but in the past few years as well. Short Out Elite is free so might as well put that on him as well.

Gilmore gets your choice of free Tip Drill or Pick Artist in one slot, and 1 AP Acrobat in the other. How could someone pass up on him?

Jensen (Motivator Chem boosts LG/RG +7 AGI, +4 SPD, +7 ACC, +1 RBF, +1 PBF) and Gillan (Motivator Chem boosts all K/P/DL/LB +1 AGI, +1 KPW, +1 IBL, +1 POW) have great motivator chem boosts so they will be great additions. Jensen gets 1 AP Identifier in one slot and 1 AP SP in the other, while Gillan gets…. 1 AP Crusher? Interesting.

Interesting to see how these guys will perform for me and for others as well. Dillon, Watt, and Adams don’t look as enticing as the others so I won’t be getting them for now (unless I here constant good reviews about them).

I picked up the Scottish Hammer and Red Tornado. Jensen’s motivator boosts are too good to pass up. I needed a punter anyways and I’m on PS4 so I don’t kick extra points or FG’s. I can use Gillan for all of my kicking and who knows maybe I will get some fumbles with his Crusher.

I will likely give Watt a try and I would like to try Lamar but I need to sell some stuff to get both of these guys.

Well I didn’t realize how good the Quadfather was. I picked him up this morning and played 5 Champs games. He might be the best of the new AKA’s with his X-factor and abilities.

Don’t you hate the FG block glitch. I’m on PS4 still too and it’s so dang frustrating. Had a 51 yard FG blocked yesterday for a TD, while I was up 14-0, with 2 seconds left in the first half. He should have been down 17-0 at the half but instead it was 14-7 over that glitch. Can’t believe EA let’s this BS continue.

It’s pretty ridiculous that they’ve done nothing to take it out of the game. I think I’ve only kicked twice in H2H this year and they were both blocked with the glitch.

Recently my mindset has changed. I decided if I can’t feel comfortable kicking then I need to take away my opponent’s ability to kick. I figured out how to do the FG block glitch to at least even the odds.

If someone is trying to play a reasonable game of football with me then I don’t use it. Unfortunately at least 90% of H2H games are people spamming the same BS they learn from YouTube videos so now they get their FG’s blocked if I’m playing them.

I have a legends TT, so I dont have alot of spots available for current players.  I did pick up Cheetah and he is amazing.  I kind of want to try out Quadfather but once they nerf him, his price will plummet.  JJ is one of my favorite players of all time but his stats just dont blow me away.  Im sure his card plays great though.  Lamar is a must have for guys that like to run with the QB but Im more of a pocket passer.  Prez is meh.  Gilmore looks like every other 95 plus corner.  Jensen and Hammer are intriging with the motivators but I have BND Creed  with O AP identifier and Guy at Punter.

Picked up Gilly yesterday for the Panthers TT, his Most Feared card played with 0 awareness for a while so this one is refreshing. Wish he had inside shade or DRKO for 1 AP instead of Acrobat though.

I plan on getting Hill, Watt, Gilmore, and Jensen. I may pick up Adams and Dillon, but I need to reconfigure my lineup some to maintain 40/40 legends.

probably not just because im praying they nerf dillon. they literally know everyone hated eric dickerson so im not sure why they'd put a card in the game thats basically the same thing he was? it ruins madden imo

The new Jensen card looks appealing, but I’ll wait until he drops just a bit luster. Built him and sold for 530k. I’ll most likely grab him soon, but other than him, this batch is a pass from me.
