I’d say I have a solid Oline. 95, 93, 97, 95, 94. How come they are terrible at blocking? I’m constantly under pressure and getting sacked. Help please
EDIT: Totally forgot to add, I have double Edge Protector, Post Up on my Center and LG, Secure Protector on my Center.
Ratings mean almost nothing as long as you meet all the 90 thresholds. What you need is O line abilities.

Just checked all the ratings. Every main stat on all of my olinemen hits 90 except for 3 of them have under 90 awareness, with 89, 88, and 87.
Because this is a badly coded game using a garbage engine....plus you have a majority of EAs staff that never played or watched football

iirc the Center is the one who determines the awareness, so only his awareness matters.
Most of the instant pressure and sacks is coming from the defensive scheme rather than your o-line not blocking well.
Most of the meta blitzes that I see constantly in H2H are sending 5 or more people so when you only have 5 blocking, someone is getting home pretty quick. Also they like to bring extra defenders up close to the LOS, when they do that it makes the o-line think they are blocking more defenders and it makes it harder for them to stop everybody that is actually blitzing because they don’t know who is blitzing until they blow past them.
My personal opinions:
1. Awareness may be more important than you think but I don’t think you absolutely have to be over 90. If you have guards pulling higher awareness will help them determine who to block based on where your RB is going and who is in the way. Awareness also helps tackles block defenders if they have multiple pass rush attempts on one play.
2. More mobile tackles work better at blocking against slot blitzes/Cb blitzes. I have had the best pass blocking success with Kolton Miller at LT. He has high SPD/ACC and good AGI/COD for a lineman and only 88 AWR and his pass block attributes are all below 95.
3. Weight and Strength are probably more important than being at a certain number for blocking attributes. I believe this is especially true if your o-lineman has a pass rush ability equipped. (Also height can help, if an o-lineman is 6’8” his reach should help out in pass protection, a T-Rex isn’t blocking anyone!)

awareness is super important for picking up blitzes, whether slot or looping linebackers. You need 90 on all linemen for a consistent blitz pickup.

I have Red Tomato at Center boosted to 97.
Who are your linemen by position?
If they are boosted by Jensen and are 93-95 honestly they may be outmatched.
A lot of teams now have O lineman boosted to 97. My entire O line is minimum 97.
That's because a lot of good squads have defensive pass rushers that boost to 97/98 with speed and strength and abilities. And awareness is key as well on blitzes.
I recommend Munoz, Matthews, Jensen (AKA), Yanda, and Thomas.... if you can swing that. That's basically my O line
Even so there's ways to counter blitzes.... frankly I'd just run the ball with Quadfather or throw quick slants or drags to a player with short in elite . If they're running zone blitz quick wheels to the HB works unless they play hard flats.... I'm which case you can beat that quickly especially if they're itzing a DB
You can keep your TE in to block, block your Running.back.... lots of things you can try.

That’s gonna be tough lol. I currently have 93 Kolton Miller, 92 Jay Hilgenberg, 96 Red Tornado, 93 Robert Hunt, 93 Jawaan Taylor, without boosts. I had Quadfather but sold him to prep for TOTY (I have a Raiders TT) which I thought was gonna drop yesterday. I have had a lot of success throwing HB wheel routes and I could try more short passes, I have SIE on Waller and Slot-O-Matic on Tim Brown which lights up often for me. I could try subbing in Gronk to block on run plays, just thought of that one lol. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

I’ve been seeing mid blitz lately as well. Sometimes they even bring both safeties down close to the LOS. If they are doing that it doesn’t matter how good your o-line is they will be getting pressure/sacks almost immediately. It’s really hard to pass against that because the ball has to come out so fast and your QB is under pressure. So you have to throw quick, short passes and use your TE and/or RB for blocking.
The good news is it’s usually easy to run against and if they are bringing the safeties down then they have no help on the back end once you blow through your gap. Try running up the middle in strong formations with a fb blocking. I use Strong Slot in Pats playbook and counter weak sets up the blocks really nice with the guard and the fb. I burned a mid blitzer a couple days ago with this. I had 4 rushing TD’s, I think two were long runs to the house.

Hilgenberg is small. 259 lbs. I would try to replace him. Do you have any abilities on Hunt? Issue with Jawaan is awareness...Kolton has <90 awareness also but he does have very good mobility so he can swing around on blitzers.
I would also try to key who you think will be blitzing...you can select a defender to watch and key on, in the pre-snap menu. You can also slide your line to block left or right from the pre-snap menu. Where are you getting the most pressure from?

My abilities are Edge Protector on Kolton Miller, Post Up on Hilgenberg, Post Up and Secure Protector on Red Tornado, nothing on Hunt, and Edge Protector on Taylor/Petit-Frere, I have both of them.
