Kicks being blocked in h2h

i have an 83 wil lutz as my kicker and yesterday this guy I played in h2h seasons blocked every kick I attempted with kam chancellor. I’m going to get a better kicker when tvps are out of the game so I can get one for cheaper but will this solve my problem ? Is there a way to counter this or do I have to hope my opponent doesn’t know how to block a kick because I attempted a kick before halftime in that game and he blocked it and made it a touchdown and that put me down 14 which I couldn’t come back from.

Unfortunately it’s running rampant on next gen now. I’m on PS4 and you haven’t been able to kick FG’s since madden 20

Unfortunately on old gen, this is an easy/common glitch where you have folks watch the YouTube videos on how to block kicks and XP’s. I’ve lost a couple games because of this too…I even had a guy block a FG and a punt on me earlier this week on champs. Honestly, the only things you can do are: 1) Go for 2 every time you score instead of extra points 2) Try changing up the timing on how long it takes you to kick to throw off your opponent when he’s spamming X and 3) Watch the YouTube video and practice blocking them yourself - then you can hopefully fight fire with fire and take away a few points from your opponent. It’s one of the most frustrating things in the game because EA refuses to patch it like they did on current gen.

I have been playing mut on current gen since madden 20 and this is the first time this has happened to me. Really hope ea fixes it because it can be costly

If you perfect your kick acc they cant get the block animation.   Control what you can control.

I think they still can I perfect my kick accuracy almost every time

I saw that if you put your blocking on aggressive it counters it but I don’t know if that actually works
