Season 3 Ed Reed

I have him in a 50/50 Ravens TT with pick artist and I think he has more INTs than completions allowed for me. Mainly play him at the back end apart from the occasional man blitz in which he holds his own in man coverage (with Ball Hawk strat though)

Well I finally got a chance to play a little bit and so far he isn’t getting beat deep like Peppers was. Definitely seems like the right solution for me. Now I just have to figure out who I want to put in the box next to Rod Martin.

Yeah I really like Reed, his AP is kinda annoying if you want him deep, I don't like paying 2ap for PA and Dee out zone KO when tons get that combo for 1ap(including Peppers). So far in the box reed's tackling hasn't been noticeable, if he struggles I guess I'll put Derwin there and Reed will ride the bench unfortunately.

I didn’t want to spend 2AP for DOZKO/PA but so far it’s been worth it. He was fine for me in the box as well, didn’t notice the low tackling at all but I was looking for a solution deep and so far he’s delivering!

I’ve had Peppers there forever but he’s getting beat more lately. I’m nervous about the difference in height, I’m so used to Peppers making up ground because he’s so tall. When I used Ed Reed’s legend card he got crazy animations and made plays all the time back there. I’ve had him at SubLb and he’s been fine but I’m just wondering if this is the next move?

Ed has been really good for me. I’ve used him all around. Started with him at user but felt i needed an ability to help with run game so put him up top but ultimately swapped him out cause he doesn’t get deep out knock out… and now he is my slot corner and has been for while now… only down side is I have to manually sub him in but takes two seconds.  I use just acro on him and I like to blitz my slot corners and he has decent block shed….. I can’t see me removing him from slot for awhile. He’s rated 99 at slot as well if that means anything.

Thanks for the feedback man! If he starts getting burned deep I will probably move him to the slot as well. So far he’s been great though.

Yeah he does play like a dog back there, so it makes it a really tough decision. Mills I want at safety with his ability stack for my match scheme and same with the new Harrison Smith tomorrow, he'll be 98 speed on my tt. So unfortunately Reed is running out of spots to play unless he beats out Derwin for sublb. 

Also I'd recommend trying Rod Martin, he's a crazy user with lurker and pick artist.

Yeah I had Mills at FS but wanted to make some coin on him and it’s hard for me to justify him at FS at over a million coins if Reed can get the job done for free.

I have Rod Martin at SubLb and he’s been great for me. His very first defensive snap he had a diving cpu interception.
