Trying to figure out who to put at SS. Definitely have had more success at FS and SS with taller players. Peppers is insane, Chinn's 93 was great, and played Calvin as an OOP there with good success, but just looking to upgrade the position. Like Bo in the box, but he doesn't make plays at SS for me. Was thinking of trying Carmichael, but any suggestions on SS's or CB's that have played well up top?
Like you said, tall people are going to be better up there.
If you still want a CB up top:
Carmichael
The new MCS Woolen when he drops
The new comp pass CB
If you don't want to run a traditional FS, you still can't go wrong with OOP CB Calvin or Carmichael at FS, imo, especially if you run a lot of man blitzes and/or are worried about height.
But these FS are worth it, imo:
Peppers still puts in work up top.
BDawk is a fantastic user.
Field Pass Ed Reed is sneaky good, but his tackling stats make me question playing him at S. But again, if you run a press man/man blitz-heavy scheme, he is a fantastic option at either S spot. And he was free!
For coverage SS, that MCS Derwin is a beast. Ted Hendricks and Prez are great user SSs. Rodney Harrison has put in work on the back end in my man-heavy scheme. I replaced Derwin with him just to try the card, thinking I'd sell it, but kept him in.

MCS woolen is actually an OOP FS card. Excited for the set.
