I've seen conflicting posts elsewhere about how long short, medium and long passes actually are, whether it's measured from the QB or the LoS and whether distance or inside/outside is determined by where the receiver breaks or where he catches the ball.
I believe Short In Elite (SIE) is any route that breaks inside the numbers within 10 yards, Mid In Elite (MIE) is any route that breaks within 10-20 yards inside the numbers, and Deep In Elite (DIE) is any route that breaks 20 yards+ and inside the numbers. The ability reads as catching passes but all the Huddle.GG advice says that things must break within that yardage and I trust those guys.
I've been trying in practice mode and it seems to be hit and miss trying to figure out when they light up. But these numbers seem to be in the ballpark.

its 11 yards then 9 to 21 the 21+.
Here is a great place to see all the abilities and how they are coded: https://www.abilities.fyi/abilities/offense
Thx for the link. That explains a lot.
