Can't Activate Defensive abilities

Anyone else having this problem? I can't activate any defensive abilities. Yes, I have restarted my game. I just have my 11/12 AP being used

Happens to me all the time offense and defense. Haven’t been able to figure out what triggers it.

Usually if I remove a player from my lineup that has an ability it will make the ability activator accessible again.

I always remove the player from lineup and then put them back into the lineup and look to see if it worked. Sometimes I’ve had to try removing a 2nd player because it doesn‘t always work.
