So now that mahomes won mvp and sbmvp, would he get a sbmvp card or a mvp card?

Both. He will get his 97 (MVP) and his 99 (SBMVP)

Something that other people were suggesting and I agree with is alternate card arts on his SB MVP 99. It would be basically pointless to release a card for him lower than 99 at this point.

A 97 gives more budget players a chance to get an updated mahomes, and it will be kind of like the career tribute releases. A high overall card and a lower, more budget option at the same time. I think it would be cool if they do the exact same thing as career tribute and release his 97 as a BND for training

That would be pretty cool to have a training option. 

Kinda wondering if the SB MVP will be a set card like last year (two 97s)... and if it returns BNDs (though I doubt it) then that might be a sneaky way to add some high end cards to my team for cheap.
