I'm not good at H2H, what could help my team help me?

Hi everybody! 

I'm learning H2H and I have no idea how to user or anything. 

I rush like crazy. If it's 3rd and 18? I'm running the ball. 

I use Run N Gun and Balanced Pass offense (spread) 

On defense I run 46 I think? The specialty defense. I get beat deep A LOT and I have guts forget how to cover A LOT. 

I have 750k of coins and was thinking maybe Armstead or Mad Maxx or maybe a high end corner or SS or FS for usering. 

What are my options?

It's a super solid team

IF your tryna go for an eagles tt which it looks like you are I'd reccomend selling some of your backups that dont get in on any of your plays and replacing them with gold eagles players for the free chem. 

I'd put Avonte Maddox at my CB3 and demote Sneed to CB4 as from my personal experience I have had much better coverage with Maddox. But idk maybe you have it like that for a reason.

I'd trainsition your defense to Dollar 32 Spinner. Its in the chiefs playbook and to run it effectivley you have to have a solid user. So I'd get Rodney Harrison plug him in at Sub LB and user him. Since you already have Hitman it wouldn't be like you have your backup in at starting SS.

u should try to get a legends theme team

If you suck at the game, then better players arent going to ball you out. 

Go to practice mode or seasons and work that way on trying out schemes and such and learning what works and doesnt

I'm learning how to pass and defend the pass against humans. Everything is much less predictable. 

The fact that I have no idea what people are going to run isn't making it easier. 

I have a theme but it's a loose theme. There are too many players who are fun to play with that I wouldn't enjoy a 50/50 team. 

I'm also wondering if the AKA players would be good for someone like me. Like I'm learning how to user and that means I'm going to mess up and miss plays. If I had Prez his ability would allow me to cause turnovers after I missed the first play. Like, someone catches it in the flat because I didn't cover well but then I could potentially hit the player and cause the fumble to make up for it. 

I don't know if that makes sense.

Maddox is good but I find his height a problem. I'm going to hopefully get Nahshon in a few days and plan on rearranging my CB depth then. 

While I watch Prez I'm going to practice that play you listed.

Yea for sure Prez is also a really good users as you start with your Xfactor on and he gets some nice abilities.

Abt AKA players U already got King Henry and Quad + Lamar which makes for a super strong running game the only AKA I would recommend to you is  Scary Terry as running wont work everytime and you'll need a solid receiving option other than Boldin. Hes also really cheap rn. 

My advice on learning Head to Head is find a offensive and defensive scheme that works for you and with your team. 

Also you may not need the play I mentioned as your D-Line is scary bro so u may not need the extra blitzers.

I'm trying to learn man coverage because it tells me who to cover. It has that line connecting the player you're using on defense and linking it to the player on offense.

The play I mentioned is man, but its not the best Idea to user  when your at CB as one wrong move and the WR is gone you normally user a saftey or lb

I was usering Hit Man. Beat one guy in the 7 down challenge, got toasted by the next two opponents. 

The results were inconclusive lol

I just need to figure out where to go, as stupid as that sounds.

If so, I can sell Mean Joe Green and see what else I need.

I understand that, I'm thinking more of players that help players that aren't as skilled. 

Quadfather and Henry both help people who aren't good at running. 

Truzz helps players that aren't good protecting the ball.

Actually id say it makes a better player better. If you’re hit behind the l ine and can’t run the then you’re stuck.   

i played a guy on champs who had quad and Lamar with no ep and my ETE guys would never let him get anywhere

Quite the impressive squad.  Get rid of Quadfather if yer using King Henry -- no real need for both.  Try to figure out the 50/50 team chems, either through Legends or your favorite theme team, as those +2 speed (and all the other) bonuses are really quite incredible.

As far as actual gameplay, there's no real magic trick.  I'm fairly new MUT player myself.  Some background here, if anyone cares, but not sure how relevant that information is to your question, but i've been in kind of the same boat... trying to "git gud" but was working with a mish-mash of random free to earn players i managed to grind over the past 3-4 months as I've started (re)learning the game.  Pretty overwhelming at first.  Find a good playbook, both offense and defense and learn what you prefer and what works (Zone vs Man to Man).  I cannot agree with the above suggestions enough, that 3-2 Dollar Spinner blitz package is practically a cheat code when playing against CPU, it can definitely get you burned in H2H... however, there's also a 4-man rush version of the same 3-2 Dollar man to man package which i jump between in these games.  You figure out what works, but here's how i handle a typical scenario on almost every down:

1. Select play, we'll use Dollar 3-2 Cover 2 Man LB Blitz package, which gives you 3-4 rushers (depending upon which specific user card you've selected) and 5-6 corners, plus two deep safeties.
2. Adjust formation by pressing triangle (on PS5) and then i quickly tap the left analog stick DOWN, for man to man press coverage.  Again, be careful, as this can get you beat.  Other folks will tell you to shade your receivers here, but you'll have to tinker with it to see what works for you, i've heard outside shade as recommended, but that feels counter-intuitive to me, i'd want to run inside shade whenever possible, unless i need to keep em inbounds to run the clock.
3. If you think it's going to be a run up the gut, you can also "Pinch" your D-line here to increase your odds by stuffing the box with 5+ players.  I've found this defense to be extremely capable against the run, even in H2H with stacked meta / god squads.
4. From here the next steps are truly up in the air, but if you find an opponent is favoring a specific receiver, do what you can to focus on that.  For the most part, i tend to have my user hang around the center of the field, often dropping back to fill the gap between the two deep Safeties.
5. Rinse, repEEAT -- call these plays over and over and over.

Speed kills, so having 3 down linemen, plus 8 DBs (or an extremely fast LB for your user) is how i've been approaching the game, it seems to have been more popular in the past, perhaps some recent nerfs that i'm not up to date on.  I've been shifting things around, making minor adjustments which you can somewhat see through the above link with included team lineup.  I've got Nick Bosa, (RE) Deforest Buckner (DT) & Kevin Greene (LOLB running "out of position" as LE) as my down linemen -- although i probably overspent on Bosa, he hasn't recorded more than 0.5 sacks in the small handful of games i played last evening.  Regardless, all have the team chemistry bonuses, which is pretty legit.  I have yet to find a H2H player than can run on this team, even from 3-2 Dollar.

Wish i had better suggestions for you, specifically HOW to run around with your user player card, but i'm learning, as well.  Keep up the excellent work.  Look forward to hearing about your progress.
