Using player secondary position Chem

When using a player at their secondary chem position from Power Up, is there really a noticeable difference in gameplay other than the drop in OVR rating?  I'm playing Andrew Whitworth at LG instead of LT because I have Armstead playing LT due to Saints TT chem.  Whit should have an honors release soon so that is what made me make the move over Larry Allen.

Bottom line, no overall does not affect how a card plays. What I would take notice of is the actual stats on the card that are more related to the guard position. For example, you want to make sure that Andrew Whitworth has high pass block power so that he holds his double teams more effectively. Hope this helps!
