If you put Lurker on your OLB/DEs that pass rush, will they get picks as if they had pick artist on? I don’t understand why they would have it if you couldn’t.. trying to see if its worth putting on Milk Man
I'm assuming its for the randos who user their dline but runs back into coverage

Pretty much yea.
I mean if theyre tall and its free it might be worth while if you have an open slot but eh.

You'd have to be usering it on JJ to get it to work. And Lurker is inconsistent. They have it because they want people to buy the card
I actaully do this, not DL, but LBs as Rush re and rush LE, i have both with edge threat for 1, and i user one edge, and put a QB spy on the other and run a cover three with 2 DTs blitzing(ones cam jordan) no lurker on them, but i still get lots of picks and sacks from him having no where to run and/or throw the ball. if its a pocket Qb i dont run the spy and let edge threat do its work. somtimes i user my sublb, but usaully i do whats stated above

Don't you feel like you have less input/control over the D if you user an edge rusher?

I feel i have more, sometimes pressure is harder to come by, but most people see a opening and it closes fast, i usaully average like 4 picks a game in half games because someone quits. It makes it so everyone is in there zone and i can still close any openings, most people dont have abilitys on gaurds so Dts blow through them while the tackles just stay to the side

Honestly, you should try usering a SubLB or safety. Good players generally beat D line users and often easily. Our eyes light up when we see that. It's like playing the CPU in a solo battle or solo challenge. There are not a lot of DT's that are going to "blow through" the guards that are available.
If you ran up against this offense what would you do? (Since this image, swap in 99 Mahomes and MVS instead of Andre reed). No CPU controlled DT is blowing through my O line. And no Player controlled edge rusher is getting past my Tackles. That's why I suggested you try usering a Safety or SubLB or even LB

I usaully do play a lot of guys with 99 mahomes or brady, and fast WRs, but i just stay deeper than the deepset man and usaully you can estimate where the routes are going based on formation, i dont user the lb for pass rush, i user them as a guy to pick up the open man. For some reason my LBs are able to run with 90 percent of TEs, and if i see the route and found the hole in my coverage i just stay there. The biggest plays that kill my team are those short out or in routes with Tes, then i just line up and man trying to catch him thinking the Te is gonna be open and then its incomplete forcing him to switch it up
I try sublb every so often, i just hate leaving a zone open because someone got burnt and i have to pick up
A LOT of players seem to run zone defense, eh? I've attempted to build out my squad so that all DBs have 99 Man coverage and as high Press as feasible, then go nuts. It's a mixed bag, there's enough 97 Speed WRs that manage to burn me over the top, perform diving catches on 50-50 balls that you'd think were sent on a wing and a prayer... even with three defenders running stride for stride, i'm still getting hammered often enough that it pains me to admit.
Might have to start restructuring and consider a mix of zone and man moving forward. Where do most folks invest their AP on defense, i'd been almost exclusively loading up DBs for pass defense, if i need to get pressure i rush more defenders, often 5 or 6+ when necessary. Only last evening did i adjust to try and spend more AP on D-line abilities.
This thread caught my eye as i just recently began using 0 AP Lurker on Kevin Greene Legends card, he's my SUBLB2, then i typically user Ronnie Lott as SUBLB1, but i'm a fairly new MUT player, so much to learn. Thanks for the great thread and sharing your expertise and insight!
