Question of the day: best offense or best defense

Hey guys, time for todays question 

question: would you rather have the best possible offense but every player on the defense is 80 ovr or best possible defense with 80 offense.

my answer: I’m going to go with maxes out d becuase offense is more user based in my opinion so my d will need to come up and make big plays.

I'd take the maxed d because you can always make plays on offense by having the right playcall against the right defense, so your bad players can be outweighed by skill. On d, you have to rely on your CPUs to play well

I'm on current gen, so my answer might be different than some other people for that reason. I would definitely take the defense. I agree with you that offense is more user-based, so if I took the 80 defense I would essentially be getting mossed on every single down. If I got a pick on defense I could go to I-Form and milk the clock then take my 3.

Defense means nothing this year on next gen, it's about who scores faster
