MODS! look at this I think there’s a way to stop all the spamming in the comments

I see so many new accounts (made on that day) post stupid stuff so you should have it so people can’t comment until 48 hours pass after they make an account. Chess.com uses something like this and I think it would help.

Or turn off comments on players in general because its almost always racist or lineup questions.

Handing out 24 hr bans would bring it to a screeching halt!!

This would be nice. Unfortunately some people are so dedicated to ruining other peoples lives that this would just delay their comments, so every two days there would be a massive outburst of inappropriate comments.

Maybe have an infraction count or smth to keep track and if they go over the amount within a certain time they're lifetime banned?

Or like a delay between comments for newer users

I think a combination of this and OP's idea would be great.

U could create some type of code that doesn't allow inappropriate comments to be sent I've seen websites do that and it doesn't let you send until the message is modified it might take a while to put all the words that aren't allowed into the code but it would definitely be helpful.

yeah it’s really annoying for those people that just like to ruin peoples day but the mods already have a really busy job and you got to give them respect but a 24hour ban time would make people think twice

I know from time to time that racism rears its ugly head in the forums, but when has it been seen on pages that allow comments?

kinda there's lots of other websites/games that do this too however I think it would be better if it didn't allow you to send it at all because otherwise the chat would be flooded with tags

Don’t allow links in player comments and a stages of ban disciplines like first time is a day, second is a week, third is Permanent

I already suggested that if it is possible that there should be a bot added that would remove any lineup help comments on players/reveals/news pages. After what happened in the George Pickens reveal comments section I say that the bot would also be useful in removing any racist/homophobic/any bad comments in general. 

I like the idea that the OP has. This might seem like a bit much but maybe a waiting time of 72 hours to a week would be better before one could start posting forums posts or comments.

Obviously this isn't an easy ask, but hopefully the mod team and devs consider what has been proposed.
