How about giving your mods like Slammer the ability to color code Topic titles? Instead of every thread having blue font, maybe allow your mods to create colors based on the subject of the thread. For example, general threads can remain blue. When a thread is created with upcoming content maybe the ability to have the title a greenish color would be a great way to separate it from the other topics. Red could be any type of site-wide communication or alerts. You could add more colors if needed, but I figure this gets the point across.
Would be cool to build a function to turn a green thread title to the general blue, a yellow, or another color after the content is live.
So this topic below would show up as GREEN in the "MUT Discussion Forum" to separate it from other threads. An advance function to turn it to the default color on 2/19 would be pretty cool and would help to keep the most current/upcoming content threads distinct from other threads.
