I have a 94, very close to 95 overall team. I started about a week and a half ago. I've got around 1.25 million coins.

My question was, what would be the best time to upgrade? I was thinking around TOTY. If it's like last year, a big market crash occured around the time TOTY came out.
That's really up to your own judgement: whenever you feel a card is at a reasonable price to add to your team then it's your call whether to do it.
However, I be pretty minimal with your upgrades considering TOTY is coming up in two weeks. Also TVPs will be out of the store fairly soon unless EA decides to renew them.
With TOTY being likely 98s, wait until then to see what positions you still need upgrades at
Best time to upgrade is when TVP’s are out of the game. that’s when the market dips the lowest. But yes, we will have 98’s in a week probably, so if I were you, I’d spend my coins on those, especially when TVP’s leave.
True. I guess a better topic name would be "When is the next big market crash?" That's usually when I upgrade my cards. My bad.
