I went to the prices dashboard and did a little research on exactly how the market usually reacts to TVPs leaving. I calculated that if I sell my team off and buy back I should make around or just above 1 mil. Super excited cuz that will go a long ways for my team. Just hope they don’t bring them back after 2 days again.
good luck i would not play so you dont feel tempted to open packs
Do you think everything will go down or do you think just the non-LTD cards will go down?
I never understood the reason behind this. Yes you'll save/make coins but at the end of the day it's going to be useless regardless. Unless you sell some high end cards non LTD

Trust me, it's better not to do it.

Often people actually do not make coins back. I've seen people end up with awful teams and not enough coins to buy back a good team

Dude. This could be a massive mistake. Just remember, no one is making you do this.
I've seen over the years SO many threads about people begging for cards or coins after selling off their teams and then not being able to buy back the players they sold.
You are going to be without a team to play with for some time and you are betting that you will be able to buy back your team at a discount larger than the 10% EA tax. Some cards may become hard to get. Even if you are successful, you may not want the cards back - you may want better ones but what if you can't afford to buy an entire team ?
I hope it works out for you but be prepared for it not to.
Honestly at this point, 1 mil isn't that much and it is VERY easy for that to flip down to zero ...you are not giving yourself much cushion at all
A lot of people got burned doing this last time because TVP’s came right back. Rumor is, this may be the case again…just look how they decided to release the new reduxes on the same day they’re “removing“ TVP’s. I’ll bet my coin stack that they take down TVP’s, refresh them with the higher reduxes, and put them right back at 15-16k. Then all the people selling off teams thinking they’ll make so many coins will be the ones crying that they’re now stuck at a 94 OVR team full of BND’s.
Appreciate all the concern guys, but I’ve done all the calculations. Also, I am willing to buy back similar cards that might be cheaper. I am very flexible with who I will be buying. I will probably buy back around Sunda. I’ll let you guys know how it turns out
im selling my team today but im immediatly buying a new one

Completely agree with this. This late in the year, it's just not worth the risk for such a low amount of return. If you were going to make, say, 5 million or something, then maybe the risk would be worth it. But selling off your entire team to make 1 million is most likely not going to work out in the long run as the AH fees alone will eat away a lot of that 1 million profit you have.
Is it smart to sell off a few higher end pieces before TVPs leave? Sure. If you have a set card that is still worth 600k, it's probably not a bad idea to sell them and wait to see if you can buy them back cheaper, but your entire team? That's a risk not worth taking at this stage of the game, in my opinion. Especially with the unpredictability of the TVP making a return.
Just have your wallet open in case it doesn’t work out how you expect it too 💰
