DL Boosting Strat Card / All AP on DBs

Seen a few guys advocating for using a legendary Strat card that boosts your DLine, using only free abilities on those boosted dlinemen, freeing up more AP to spend on l your DBs. 

I’ve always ran zone boosting strat cards (currently Legendary In The Zone), but I’m thinking about trying out the strategy mentioned above. My main concern though is that some of my DBs will no longer be hitting 96 zone/man thresholds… If I can already run Pick Artist & DZKO on both outside corners and up top safeties, is it worth sacrificing coverage thresholds for another KO ability?  And for those who do use this strategy, which DLine Strat card is best to use?
 

FWIW, this would leave my DLine as:

Donald (0AP El Toro) at RE

Milk Man (1AP X-Factor) at LE

Dockett (1AP Defensive Rally & 0AP El Toro), Ngata (0AP Inside Stuff) at DT 1&2 —> total of 2 AP on DLine.

Played a guy yesterday that had abilities only on Gravedigger and he put him at RE and he insta sacked me like 4 times. so I think there could be some value in that for sure

Did you have any abilities on your offensive line? If yes than I def think there is value in that and may experiment with it myself.

Edge protector on tackles, Secure Protector on guards and Center. he just ran around him twice and bull rushed his way the other two times. sending my RB and sliding the line worked a bit but not enough to stop him

Yessir all the standard ones 😂 edge and secure, Threat detector, and Identifier. he wasin the backfield on like 95% on my dropbacks, and I pass 90% of the time

that's been like that for all d-line users somehow it's easy to shed as a user than it is a cpu at times which is honestly insane

He wasn’t usering him though. He was using Hitman over the middle and I would know cause I threw 2 picks before I left lmao

interesting......well this solidifies my previous points where combos absolutely maul people in this  game sad because you could oh so much put AP on stuff to be effective.

So you’re saying that ability combos are better than just like one or 2 abilities on each player? so like stacking 3 or 4 abilities on one person?
