Edge Threat Elite worth it?

I’ve always stacked my d line with abilities and usually run Edge Threat elite with DON on my DEs. With most people running edge protector or secure protector on their tackles, is it even worth putting edge threat elite on my DEs anymore? 
 

If not, what are some defensive abilities that you find are the most effective? (Can be anywhere in defence, DBs, LBs etc.)

Double or nothing with def rally. Edge threat is useless in competitive Madden.

This is the best for pass rush imo.  Edge threat is countered by edge protector but DON will still win.  Otherwise I'm spending most of my AP on my secondary.

secure protector stops both. Best pass rush ability is the X factors on Tank and Milkman. Only ability that kills most tackles unless double teamed by a post up.

so after following kaitords observation DON on defensive tackles is the move but other than that anybody on the edge I slap on free speedster and  run stuff abilities the other thing I payed attention to we're traits and I saw a YouTube video,a wonderful guide about traits which is  why I wish they gave Buckner a better updated card or Arik Armstead a better card maybe Jordan Davis, Calais Campbell????? but yeah

Wouldn’t ETE still be useable if you had an OLB blitzing outside of a TE where the DE takes the OT

Yes run two if you can. Then you’ll have two additional points on third down vs only one. I use defensive rally on Dockett and Perry for this purpose.
