I use coach suggestions on offense although there are several plays that I will go to for different situations or against certain defensive looks.
I play this game with the intent of having fun not just mindlessly running 2-3 unstoppable plays to get a W.
but the meta offensive plays are extremely easy to stop if you make adjustments.. quad and king Henry are either luck that you have 2 players close enough to make a tackle or have abilities to stop them which it taking away other abilities I could be using else where..

I agree with that if they are going to just keeping using the same defense and not adjust keep doing the thing that beats it.. I have no problem with that as I do that too.. if you aren’t gunna adjust then that’s on you.. my problem is no matter how much you adjust or do there is always a chance quad of king Henry just breaks the tackle and is gone for a TD.. so of course it’s going to open the game up because it’s a literal superhuman ability.. there is just no game planning or thought that goes into using them..

With all the free Inside Stuff players and Secure Tacklers, it isn’t THAT hard to stop. I agree to a certain extent it is a little broken rhough

So couple things with this is inside stuffs do nothing at stoping them as they are very easily countered with a simple double team or secure protector or even an outside run.. and there hasn’t been a free secure tackler since gravedigger so there is no actual useable card to counter them.. there are a ton of discounted secure tackler but why should I have to spend 4-5 AP in order to stop a player that only cost 1ap in king Henry.. and 2 for Quad.. also that is taking away potential KOs or other pass rush or run stopping abilities that could be more useful in the overall scheme of the game..
still that is not even my main point as with no secure tacklers or inside stuffs I can stop them just fine most the time it just not fun to play them and I cant Imagine it’s fun to use them either.. so it just seems like people use them to win in any way possible instead of being competitive and game planning..
Seeing my running back break through 5 tacklers is fun because it’s entertaining. If we saw something like that in real football, we would all be stunned by it. Both of them are available to everybody, so it isn’t some glitchy cheat code. Theyre also very affordable, especially king Henry because he will always hold his ltd value.
theres also many ways to counter, like using conservative tacking and having secure tackler on your DTs and LBs if you so choose
You are ok with all the people that copy YouTube and only run 1 or 2 plays, but someone who actually thinks for theirselves and makes a scheme that involves running is the problem?
That being said, I’d much rather face someone that has their own scheme and runs than all the people that make the game boring by copying YouTube.

Sounds like you just came out of a game struggling against one of them my guy. I learned that whenever I had trouble stopping them, I would just use them. I’ve had the most fun using those 2 cards. Also, it does make your team competitive since you’re complaining about people using them so much… utilizing their abilities in the run game is also a gameplan

I get that it’s entertaining the first time.. but if that happpend literally every single run play in an NFL game it would be come boring and repetitive.. and conservative tackle doesn’t do anything to stop them.. and why do I have to spend so many AP to stop one player.. I know it’s available to all players I just wish it was either not apart of the game or cost wayyyy more AP like how beast mode did earlier in the year..

Im not trying to complain.. it was just a genuine question on if you actually have fun using them cuz I personally don’t.. it takes all the fun out of them game for me even using them is not fun

Conservative does work as it increases the likelihood of your tacklers entering a tackle battle. I have no trouble stopping them by making simple adjustments, as well as no defensive ap to counter their xfactor
and in the NFL, we see at least one crazy highlight every week that has happened before, but its always impressive. Now I get that this is a virtual card, but some people just don’t want to have to sweat towards a win. They just want to sit back and play madden, which is more fun casually than competitively

Yes all day because stopping those one or 2 plays is easy by just making a few small adjustments and if they don’t adjust they will lose or rage quit.. but with Quad or king Henry you don’t have to have a scheme or creative plays you can literally just run the same play over and over.. stretch left.. stretch right.. and it becomes very boring and sweaty because they take no skill..

I get wanting to play casually.. but if you want to do that then you should play solo battles or challenges.. online H2H or WL is meant to be competitive that is literally the whole point.. and exactly you see one highlight play from a full week of football not 6-7 times in every single game.. I just wanted to try to understand the logic behind someone using it as it doesn’t make sense to me
Seems as if you're stirring the pot unnecessarily with that question. Yeah, I said it.
If that's how people choose to play, just leave them be. How is it any worse than a lot of the passing cheese plays out there?
I rather play against these then constant gun tight offset players. That formation takes absolutely no skill.
